Marie's Growth Group on "Loving Your Body" by Deborah Newman

We live in a method driven era.  Even the Church (Perhaps especially the church) has been influenced by method frenzy.  While I don't put any hope in method alone, I do think that a system of discipline (method) can be redeemed and used in the Christian life.  This assumes we avoid legalism and misperceptions of how and why a person can change.  All that said, see if the following can be of use to you, in a context of grace.

Since we were created to live and work in "community", it makes sense that we grow the most and the healthiest in community too.  Consider partnering with a friend or getting a group of a few together for the purpose of growing relationally and intentionally in 4 categories of personal stewardship this year: the Physical, Academic, Social and Spiritual.  Growing in grace through sanctification this semester in each of these categories would, after all, be a good thing!

We do a Discipleship Seminar each semester to help students begin to think about growth in this way.  If you are interested, see Paul for more info on getting in a group, or leading one, or for some suggestions on how to find a PASS partner.

It's never too late to start taking responsibility for yourself and others...
